A Y for All Community Members
The Alamance County Community YMCA is committed to extending its services to as broad a membership as possible. To reach that goal, financial assistance is available to potential members or program participants based on need and available funds. The YMCA will seek, identify, and serve those in our community who have need for or an interest in our programs, and who without financial assistance might not have the opportunity to join.
To apply for financial assistance, please download the following Financial Assistance Application, complete it and return it to the Welcome Desk. Please be sure to include proof of income with the form. For more information about our Y's Financial Assistance, please contact the YMCA at (336) 395-9622. In addition to assistance for membership, Financial Aid is also available for programs such as Summer Camp, After School, and Swim Lessons.
Completed online applications can be emailed to our Finance Director, Patricia Brewer at pbrewer@acymca.org. Please allow up to two weeks for your application to be processed.
All Scholarships will be granted for a period of 12 months, reapplication is required after that time.
